October is Over!

We really did not have an October this year because the cold rains and wind were more like November. But The Sunshine Club grew by one new member named Faye. Here she is making four patches out of a huge group of random scraps.

How wonderful that she is also a Featherweight fan!

Mary was sewing some fun potholders that looked cute!

And I finally finished sewing together a big bunch of random charm packs in a vintage floral in a red, grey, and buttercream yellow palette.

Happy quilting!

Quilty Weekend

This was a fun quilty weekend for me starting on Friday at The Golden Gese. We celebrated everybody's birthday all at once with cake and ice cream.

Maureen was happy to show her newly finished quilt.

It is so bright and cheery!

She used her embroidery machine to create a special label but for some reason, it did not complete the numeral 8 on the date.

I brought in my quarter square log cabin for Laurie to see as she is making one also.

On Sunday, I took in the Belknap Mill Quilter's Guild show and enjoyed it very much.

The show is smaller than in years past but it was fun.

The guild rummage sale was marked half off because I was there after 2pm on Sunday and they closed at 4pm.

I found about 8 yards of various sized pieces of scrappy neutrals and paid a whopping $5.50 for all of it. Wheee!

Happy quilting!
