Spring Sewing

Thursday Felix and I enjoyed a lovely pork roast dinner at the Alton, New Hampshire Senior Center.

The occasion was a Thank-you dinner for all the volunteers with gifts and games along with a splendid meal. We had a great time of it!

I volunteer to teach the weekly quilting classes and love doing it there!

Then, on Friday, the Friday Quilter's met at the Golden Gese for some fun and some show and tell of our various projects.
Here's Maureen with one of her stylish placemats.

Beverly was working on a gorgeous blue and white quilt.

Young Madison had something to share, too. This is her patchwork from a charm pack quilt top. Good job, Maddie!

I worked all week on the hand hemming of my "Little Red Riding Hood" couch throw and was very pleased with it. Here I am holding it up for the camera.

Around the farm, it's all about the spring showers and the glorious forsythia blooms.

Happy Spring sewing to all!

Aren't the Spring blossoms a sight for winter weary eyes?
How nice to receive appreciation for services rendered. That is helpful to feel like your efforts are worth it to someone.
What a wonderful 4-patch! How did it come by its name?
