The Hanging

The hanging of the quilt show is very very hard physical work. It took a large crew of guild members and their husbands all day to set it all up. I worked from 8am to 5pm until my muscles just ached. but it was worth it!

These are the pictures of my quilts after everything was hung and decorated. There were many gorgeous quilts. Here are some of the others.

The quilts were all so dazzling! We ask all our members to loan us their antique rocking horses and dolly cradles and rocking chairs to use around the bases of the wooden quilt racks with the Fall mums. Doesn't it all look beautiful enough to inspire you?

Our Belknap Mill Quilter's Guild hangs about 200 quilts each year and most are done by our 120 members.
