FROZEN TAG!

It is so very very cold here now!  The wind has died down though. I am chilled to the bone.

My Good Spouse is working with another good work man to restore our broken furnace. It is cool here in my little tiny office room on the Northern side of our pretty home.  (See above) .

I do hope very much that they can get the boiler working again before midnight. If you have electric power then I do hope that you can appreciate that.

May you all continue to thrive, wherever you are!

Sometimes furnaces choose the worst time to break or die! I hope yours is repaired quickly so you can be warm again. Thank goodness you have lots of quilts to help keep you warm.

Oh hope your furnace got fixed in a hurry--it is freezing outside! We had pretty high winds here in SE CT so the windchill was way down--not quite so bad tonight. Good thing we have lots of quilts to pile on...;)))

POST SCRIPT:
FURNACE is back on and working! Hoorah!

It took 2 hours but I crawled under the mountain of fluffy quilts and then I promptly fell asleep.

Thank you, Bob, the furnace repairman.

Unfortunately, electric power doesn't work when the power goes out so same kinda problems. Mine went out a few days ago and initially the estimate to restore was 2 hrs. then next estimate was 8!!!! (it wound up being 6). I was not happy but then I reminded myself that many in Puerto are STILL without power weeks later. A few hours seemed very minor. I could've built a fire to keep the living room a tad warmer but no need for that.

I'm glad you have heat again but I figured you had quilts to snuggle up in.
hope you have a great week

Oh yes! chilly...I emailed you about the frost on the pumpkins. We just had our Gas furnace rebuilt, so it's very efficient now.
My Best to everyone & stay warm in your house of quilts!.

Brr. It is cold here (for the South). Hope your heat/power has been restored. I always appreciate electricity when I am without

Glad the heat is back on! I think back to stories about the pioneers -- breaking the ice in the washbasin in the morning, or when Laura Ingalls looked up at the ceiling one night and saw the frost (no insulation in the rafters!) or the time she wrote her name in the frost on the inside of the window (no storm windows).

When relocating to new house these tips are kinda helpful. Inspection before new furnace unit replaced is necessary. Heating and Cooling Ottawa
