Step 3 Done

Candace from the quiltvillechat group calculated that at the end of step 3 we have 2028 pieces sewn. Whew! I finished my 350 HST's this morning but had a lovely visit from my sister so I'm late to post about it.
The sorting basket from Wally World holds 300 and the extra 60 are there on the ironing board.

I'm especially glad to use up the black background print in the foreground of these pictures of fruit and cornacopias with orange garland. It was just too "Thanksgiving-y"! There was only a fat quarter of it so I used it all up and now it's gone! Yeay!

Those look incredible with that splash of color. And it goes fabulously with that purple. Goodness over 2000 pieces so far and we haven't even touched the main fabric yet :)

Your black cornucopia looks pretty good and makes me re-think some fabric that I thought would not look so good. Yours looks VERy good!

Minus 9 degrees this morning in Western Nebraska!

That black fabric is working well in your blocks. It's amazing how much piecing we have done so far. I think I'm ready to start making some sense of it all. Roll on Friday.

Beautiful array of colors.

Vic, Are you as impatient as I am to see clue#4? Since we've had pretty easy clues #1, #2, #3, I'm thinking the 4th is gonna be a doozy! Just a feeling!......Happy sewing...

Hhmm, Another easy clue, Vic! You got your wish with the red. This clue shouldn't take us long......Happy sewing... :-)

Hi Vic, Are you deep into your reds? How are you doing on clue #4?.. Easy peasy, Huh.I took a break @ 40 red string blocks, now I'm back at it again for a little while longer. The lighting isn't so good in my sewing room, as it's already dark here as you know. Long winter nights! Good luck on your progress.....Debra in Ma.
