Happy Fourth Of July!

Happy Independence Day!

Husband Wonderful even got the lawn all mowed, yeay!

On a quilty note, I was thrilled to see more Hearts To Help 10½" unfinished blocks to be sent in to the Orlando Modern Quilt Guild to benefit the families and victims of the Orlando Massacre. Link.

These blocks were made by the Friday Quilters at the Golden Gese Quilt Shop on 22 Liberty Street in Concord, New Hampshire, and also, there were some made by The Sunshine Club of Alton, New Hampshire's Senior Center.

Below, on Friday, I was just finishing up some of the last demo kits of the heart blocks that I had made to promote the idea. We collected 56 blocks in all! We took up a collection for the postage money to send a Flat Rate Priority envelope of all of them. Thank you, everybody!

Here is Maureen, below, modeling one of the very cute burp cloths that she made. Looking good, Maureen!

If you click on the picture, it will enlarge it.

Lastly, I'm proud to include this picture of Madison and her newly finished quilt top. Maddie just turned 10, I believe, and she's a natural when it comes to quilting! Good job, Madison!
