RABBIT!

RABBIT! If that is the first word you speak on the first day of the month, you will have good luck all month long.
We've really had on again off again weather with the snow coming in on Tuesday or Wednesday, and then a thaw of 50 degrees for one day yesterday that melted it all away. Now, Friday, the cold has come roaring back and brought a fresh dusting with it.

The power steering repair on the plow truck worked great and my hero is back to plowing us out rather than needing to pay our neighbor.
Our precious Raven has been very ill with projectile diarrhea after eating cat feces that she found in the snow when a feral cat took shelter during the storm in our garage. She has not had a single accident in the house. I take her out every 3 hours. Her gas pains are so bad that she whimpers in her sleep.
The vet has prescribed a good antibiotic (to fight the infection) and a good probiotic (to replace the good bacteria in her colon) and now she is getting better.
As for me, my terrible head cold is getting better and I do a lot of sewing on the binding of that second Sister's Choice in between sneezes. I have no picture of that, so here is a snapshot of the next Block "B" I did for Easy Street.

Oh, poor Raven! Oddly enough, this week I have also been dealing with a sick furry friend with a similiar problem so I know how it feels to be out there at 3:00 in the morning in the falling snow waiting for poor doggy to get the job done. (My little guy is on the mend now.) It's so sad when they are sick and don't understand what's going on. :-(

Never have heard the "Rabbit" thing before. : )
Sorry about Raven. That is no fun.
So how many Easy Street blocks do you have finished now? I am still stuck at 2. Just so focused on sewing up Mom's birthday gift, and you don't do the leader/ender thing with paper piecing.

I have to ask where in NH you are located? I will be moving to White River Junction, VT by Tuesday of next week. Of course, being from Nebraska/South Dakota- I will HAVE to learn my way around the quilt shops here :)
