Sunshine Club Quilting

Today's dreary gray showers were off set by a cheery group of quilters at The Sunshine Club at the Alton, New Hampshire Senior Center.

Here is Mary showing her progress on hand quilting her scrappy four-patches quilt.

Sue was working on her last batch of hip clips for her granddaughter's entrepreneurial project.

As for me, I had trouble getting settled down to hand bind my scrappy Twinklers quilt and left early to join Felix to go get our haircuts.

This was made with 2½" squares that were snowball cornered with 1½" squares. Whew!

Stay focused and quilt on!

Love that Twinklers quilt, Vic! The scrappy binding is fun, too--especially the striped part. : )

You had me scratching my head for a minute with your Twinkle Star explanation, but then voila! What an interesting way to put make this star. I think I will have to give it a try. Have a great day!

Twinklers looks great! Do you and Felix have the same hairdresser? As I recall, southern New England has had a spell of drought. Don't know if that extends up to you, but if so the rain would be welcome. (OTOH we have had way more than enough rain, and more to come this weekend.)
