Enjoying the Cocheco Show

I am so blessed to have such great friends and family! While touring the Cocheco Quilter's Guild show in Rochester, New Hampshire with my friend Grace from Maine, I experienced some car trouble. Now this is NOT my car, but maybe it should be, LOL!

This is The New England Quilt Museum's "car quilt" on display at the entrance. Ain't it grand?

Here are some random images of quilts that either inspired me or intimidated me. The show was wonderful! Remember that you can click on any picture to enlarge it. This Civil War lovely was by Cindy McKenna and it was all decorated for Halloween! I loved her use of cheddar.

These are shots of a couple of the entries for their guild challenge.

The next three were small quilt all done by the same maker.

They made me think of Janet O's work over at Rogue Quilter.

I loved this small quilt also, especially for its red floral borders!

Another small quilt that caught my eye was this dusty blue and golden yellow combination, so unusual!

The Best Of Show was this stunning orange and white quilt.

Hope you are now itchin' to be stitchin'!

Thanks for sharing pics from the show. I'll have to go over to Floating on a Quilted Cloud blog and congratulate Regan on her best of show. She did a fabulous job. Hope your car is up and running!
