None the less, life goes on. I didn't do very much yesterday at Sunshine Club, except to help Sue to rip out a few of her miscreant four patches that were going in the wrong direction.
We got them all going the right way, as you can see above. You can also see that our chocolate dispenser is on the table and open. Hersey's Milk Chocolate Nuggets to the rescue!
Margie was diligently at work, cutting more 5" squares for her yellow and blue baby quilt.
Back at home, I must confess to investing in what may be folly, but it pleases me to no end. From a fellow stashbuster, I paid the shipping on this huge box of two inch squares.
The photograph looks awfully "blue" due to the low light conditions at twilight when I took the picture. Just look at all those 2" squares! She even included a booklet on machine quilting, too. Thank you, Donna!!!
This is a picture of Miss Raven and Miss Tanner enjoying a final sunbath together on the deck. Raven was such a gentle soul that she never once chased or teased the cats. But she did steal a lot of their kitty milk from their dish, LOL!
May you find the bright spot in every day, no matter what is happening in your life.
Happy sewing, too.

It is good to have places to go and things to do when you are faced with loss.
Looks like Donna's box will provide many future hours of enjoyment. That's a lot of squares!!
Bless Miss Raven's kind heart (even if she did lap up their milk). : )
My heart is with you, mourning your loss. Enjoy those squares, that box is like treasure to me!
That is a wonderful box of squares you have there. Any quilter worth her salt could amuse herself for ages with that! That is a sweet picture of your dear Raven.

Wow - what WILL you do with all those squares? Are they cut well? Accurate, etc.?
