Saturday Gallavanting

Just a quick trip up to the Mothership (Keepsake Quilting's retail store) to drop off my two quilts for their First Annual Outdoor Quilt Show and Sale next weekend on August 9th.

I was fascinated by the genuine Civil War period quilt that they had on display with the Civil War fabrics.

Those pretty pinks and cinnamon browns were wonderful to see. And how about that crazy blue just stuck in there?

I couldn't resist some soft pastels in Jeanne Horton from the Outlet Store right there and Karen did a great job cutting them for me.

She took my picture, too, thanks, Karen!!!

Here are my goodies:

Then it was home to visit my favorite gardener!

Notice the deer-chewed green bean tower in the background. Sigh!

Happy quilting!

I got a kick out of Grace's comment! : )
Looks like a fun trip to the Mothership. Tonight I Skyped with Angie and told her she would have to check out the upcoming quilt show there. She mentioned learning of a quilt shop in Alton that has one of the fabric license plates for the Row by Row experience that says, "Live Hard and Quilt". She couldn't recall the name of the shop. Anything come to mind?

Thought I'd get off my xxx and drop a comment! Deer-chewed ... is that better or worse than hail chewed as we frequently have???

Happy Quilting. 8-)))

Love your blog, Victoria! I check it every day.

P.S. You need some deer fencing. :)
