Husband Wonderful is on major antibiotics for the deep cat scratch wounds but I think he will be okay. Still has the swelling and the soreness, but he's only been on it one day. Thank you for all your expressions of concern.
I bought this bias-printed stripe by South Seas Imports purely on speculation.
I was planning to use it for a binding, yes, but not for a specific quilt in progress. Then I had an "Ah Ha" moment of gestalt! When I was searching my stash for choices for the binding on "Tumble Inn," I was thrilled. This photo of the stripes looks like green/black/cream, but it is actually a deeply saturated plum color, not black.
This above shot shows my having trimmed the white Soft'N'Crafty batting and the PLUM flannel sheet backing from the twin sized "Tumble Inn" quilt. The plum flannel sheet came from the big Goodwill Store in Concord for about $3, as I recall. They are perfect for each other!
So I made up the binding and put it onto the quilt.
I'm about half done on hand hemming it down and then I'll get a finish with a picture for you.
In the meantime, the mailman made my Husband Wonderful groan at the sight of three packages. Yippee, a fabric day!!!!
I was enjoying my new goodies by petting them and fondling them when I suddenly recalled that I was supposed to take my very dear friend, Ilse, out to lunch for her 81st birthday!
I quickly ran out and picked her up and we had a lovely lunch at the Farmer's Market in Farmington, New Hampshire.
So no quilting got done today really, but I did mean to show you some of the contents of the scrap bag that I bought from Keepsake Quilting's booth at that Saturday quilt show.
They give you an 8"x 10" flat ziplock bag and you stuff it as full as you can! I had a ball discovering that hunk of Indigo Crossing at the bottom of one of their scrap boxes! Here is what the bag looks like.
I think that I crossed the line somewhere. I'm no longer a quilter. I'm a fabric collector who also makes quilts. LOL!
Stay calm and quilt on!

Great binding fabric!
You really scored in the scrap department.
Vic, My husband asks "what did you buy me?" every time a package arrives. Guess that is better than a groan!!! LOL Love the fabrics but especially the stripe. Hope your Hubby gets better fast.
