We are having a very rainy Fourth of July today but enjoying it anyway. Last Tuesday I finished sewing up the 1600 inches jelly roll quilt top. It is Windham's Shenandoah Valley by Nancy Gere and I just love it!
It is a red, tan, and blue themed jelly roll and my dear friend Ilse says it is "relaxing" to look at it. I agree! It is so mellow.
I had hoped that the matching charm packs would've arrived by now, but they have not, so I'm setting this aside for now.
I hope that your holiday plans are not ruined by Hurricane Arthur due to brush up the coast in a few hours. Happy Birthday, America!
Happy quilting!

Happy Fourth to you, too. I thought about you yesterday afternoon when they were talking about tornado warnings in Southern NH. Glad nothing came of that. Stay dry!
Oh, I'm glad you have escaped the worst of the storm. Haven't been in touch with DD#1 this week and didn't know there were tornado warnings in NH. Yikes!!
