In Memoriam

One of our regular upstairs Friday Quilters at The Golden Gese quilt shop passed away over the weekend after a long illness.
You knew her as Darlene. Last October, she was proudly showing us her beautiful Pink Flamigos quilt.

She often had no energy for quilting but pushed herself to get this quilt done and had it professionally quilted.

We laughed that this quilt was definitely NOT Civil War reproductions, which she also loved.

She will be greatly missed by all of us. Thank you, Darlene, for sharing what time you could with us.

Rest in peace, Darlene.
