Both Husband Wonderful and I remembered to say, "RABBIT!!!!" as our first word spoken aloud to begin the new month with good luck. It's a silly game that we always enjoy!
Friday Quilters with Claire at The Golden Gese quilt shop on 22 Liberty Street in Concord, New Hampshire was great fun. We were all delighted to see Charlene who brought some fine projects for show and tell.
Just look at these wonderful Panama Pyramids she did!
And a baby quilt in pastels, now is that in Pinwheels? Or Broken Dishes? Either way, it's pretty!
Charlene also made the large 1930's triangles quilt top. Way to go!!!
Maureen was just beginning cutting out a new Red White & Blue project. That's from Block magazine by Missouri Star Quilt Company.
Maureen's dear daughter, Annmarie had scored some fabulous finds at a weekend flea market, or wait, maybe it was a yard sale? Just look at these!
And there was a skirt for Madison to model for us.
Maureen had made Madison one of those wonderful sewing machine pads with a personalized embroidered pocket on the front.
Nice work, Maureen! Maureen has very generously given Madison her very own first sewing machine.
Although I somehow forgot to take her picture, Sue was with us, still sewing her heart out on her big Storytellers block of the month sew along. The picture is from my files. SEW, Sue, sew!
Claire herself was busy sewing up a storm on the sweetest little Twin Sisters blocks.
Claire is going on a fun summer family camping vacation for two weeks, so we will miss her. Have fun, Claire!
As for me, I chugged along on hand hemming the almost 400 inches of perimeter on my big log cabin.
I hope to finish this and label it just in time to enter it into The Mothership's (a.k.a. Keepsake Quilting's Retail Store's) "Quiltfest" on August 13th. It's part of their summer sidewalk sale on the 13th & 14th in Center Harbor, New Hampshire. See you there!
In the meantime, the heat was fierce earlier this week and Miss Tanner was prostrated in the shade. God, she looks dead!

another keepsake sale??? be good...remember the magnet..LOL
I love those pyramids!
Feel free to misbehave at Keepsake - you'll be making up for the fact that I'm too far away to be there. Someone's gotta do it...
Those pyramids are the beginnings of a wonderful quilt. Miss Tanner looks quiet relaxed--no stress in her life
You have such a busy quilting group! Looks like fun!!
